With her team, they’re experts in hybrid techniques that combine hair strokes with shading for a more dimensional or “realistic” look.
This shows in their microblading, combination and powder brows, lip blushing, and eyeliner enhancements. Another thing worth noting is that they recently expanded their services to include advanced lip blushing and tattooing.
And while their exact prices vary by technique, their rates are generally considered premium but competitive with the San Diego market. They often range from $600 to over $800, depending on the service complexity.
Just keep in mind that, unlike other beauty studios that are open daily, this one is closed on Sundays. So if you’re only free on the weekend, it’s best to plan well in advance.

A. Samara Beauty sets themselves apart with a strict goal to avoid a one-size-fits-all approach with microblading. They instead customize every brow shape and pigment to blend well with the client’s unique facial structure and natural hair color.
Led by owner Aateka, she’s been operating in the city for over 5 years. She then leverages her knowledge to teach certified microblading courses.
They do well in “nano” and “combo” brow techniques that create hyper-realistic hair strokes. The team recently added additional services, such as advanced lip blushing and bridal makeup.
As for the rates, microblading here starts at $800. A few clients we talked to also mentioned that their pricing reflects the experts’ high-end, personalized approach.
But one thing we like is that this studio occasionally runs promotions. For example, they offer 20% discount to attract new people.
Of course, keep in mind that the artists here have a limited service scope, as they mostly offer microblading. Additionally, many find their unavailability on Saturdays and Sundays inconvenient. Because of this, we expect they’ll likely have longer wait times at times.
