Communication and attention to detail was exceptional
Andy and his team repaired the exterior stucco on a condo we own in San Diego. We hired him on the recommendation of others that had had work done by him. I also like their personalized setup. A skilled tradesperson stays dedicated to the project from start to finish, which can make the job feel less scattered.
Their client portal is useful too, especially if you want progress updates without chasing people by phone.
However, they only operate Monday through Friday, so project questions need to happen during the workweek. They also focus strictly on San Diego County, which may not work for properties just outside the area.
The place looks like new
Bottom of stucco walls were in very bad shape. Mr. Stucco Man came all the way up to Fallbrook, did a great prep/removal job, professional patch and repair matching the existing stucco. Left the place clean and ready for paint too. Now the paint is done and the place looks like new. Thanks Guys!!

A buddy of mine used them on a custom estate build and liked how their digital field system kept the crew working from the latest plans.
The company name stands for Applied Technology, and that approach shows through their Tyvek Certified Installer status. In plain terms, they know how to install the moisture barrier under the stucco properly, which helps prevent hidden rot.
When you’re upgrading the exterior, it can also make sense to compare roofing companies so the whole envelope stays watertight.
Apptek also offers a two-year written warranty and is known for high-end, smooth, Venetian, and Santa Barbara finishes.
With a large team and a bigger project focus, they may feel less ideal for tiny patch repairs.

I like that they emphasize clear communication, because wall projects can quickly become frustrating when updates are vague.
Their team also uses premium materials and has more than 20 years of trade experience, so they are not learning on your home.
If your project includes stone or brickwork, you may still want to compare masonry contractors for a more complete exterior plan.
The downside is that they don’t offer painting services, so you may still need a separate painter once the stucco work is finished.

Jesus and San Diego Stucco provided very competitive and excellent quality work when refinishing our original house stucco. They replaced with a Santa Barbara smooth steel troweled finish, other installers we contacted did not have that specialty in house. There is something reassuring about a contractor that has operated under the same name and ownership since 1986. Lemon Grove Stucco Inc feels especially grounded because owners Cliff and Joyce Davenport are still active in the business.
I like their hyper-local reference approach. Their “mile-radius” rule means they can show past jobs near your home, which makes it easier to picture the finished result.
The crew stability is another standout. They have an average employment time of 18 years and one journeyman who has been there for more than three decades.
They also own a showroom and warehouse, making it easy to check their stucco textures in person.
The tradeoff is price and scope. They’re upfront about landing in the higher price range and focus more on sandblasting and re-stucco than quick minor patch jobs.
