Their parent company was founded in 1901, so we find it incredible that they have over 120 years of expertise. For us, this gives them a big advantage over newer local startups when it comes to training, protocols, and guarantees.
As an example, we believe you can truly rely on their techs, as they undergo rigorous training in a specialized 50-station facility.
Their bed bug treatments can also range from $288 to over $669 for targeted chemical treatments. On the other hand, comprehensive house-wide heat or chemical treatments can go beyond $1,000. These are still considered average costs in the city.
Just one thing, though… someone we interviewed reported difficulty in reaching human representatives here. She noticed that the firm is shifting toward AI-handled phone calls, which can sometimes cause communication gaps.

They have over 5 decades of combined experience. And for them, heat is among the safest and most effective ways to kill pests in mattresses, box springs, and furniture.
We also love that they provide K-9 inspections for greater accuracy, which other exterminators don’t offer. Because of that, it’s safe to say their treatments would be pet-friendly as well.
Their rates typically range from $1,500 to $4,000, depending on the square footage and rooms. Of course, exact quotes for heat treatments are customized.
As for general maintenance, they give bi-monthly plans as well. They only cost about $5 more than competitors. We think that’s pretty reasonable since a client told us that the team ensures that their inspections are very thorough on-site.
Nonetheless, their small team can experience difficulty returning calls during heavy infestation periods. We think this impacts the quality of their post-service follow-ups.

Terminix is a big pest control company that handles bed bugs, termites, and general pests 24/7. They have been in the business for over 95 years, which we believe makes them highly established and reliable.
Their most notable offering is the PestFree365+ Plan, where you pay a set amount for regular visits and termite prevention at no extra cost. This covers up to 39 common pests, which already covers specialized ones that others often charge extra for.
But if you only want their bed bug treatments, they usually fall between $500 and $1,500—pretty standard in the San Diego market.
Otherwise, a one-time visit would only set you back from $100 to $500. We reckon this range is quite fair, considering this includes inspection and a 30-day guarantee.
The only thing we are disappointed about is how strict they are with cancellations. A previous client mentioned that her billing continued for months after she attempted to cancel.
Also, termination fees can go as high as $600, so we feel it’s best to think things through before subscribing to a plan.
