1. Key Suites San Diego Furnished Rentals

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
If you hate rushing across town to hit a strict move-in window, you’ll like that this team uses a simple lockbox system for a stress-free arrival.
Key Suites is great at true turnkey living across the county. The spaces come fully loaded with everything from linens to kitchenware, and they offer month-to-month setups that save you from restrictive leases.
On top of that, their properties cover wide areas, so it’s easy to land in spots like Downtown or La Jolla.
We chatted with a traveling nurse who stayed with them last year, and she couldn’t stop praising how easy the contactless check-in was after her late flight.
The one catch is that interior styles vary quite a bit from building to building. Your space might not match the online photos exactly, but the convenience makes up for it.
2. Blueground | Furnished Apartments San Diego

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Skipping the usual moving logistics feels effortless when a provider focuses on move-in-ready homes. Blueground sets up nicely styled spaces with custom interior design and a dedicated workspace with active internet.
You get the comfort of a boutique hotel while keeping the privacy of your own place. A friend who relocated for a tech contract handled all her payments and maintenance requests right through their mobile app, which she loved.
They also drop off a starter kit with household essentials to get you through the first few days. That small touch made her first week a lot smoother.
Just know you’ll pay a noticeable premium for these setups, and the dynamic pricing means rates climb during peak seasons. You also can’t book for less than thirty days, so it won’t cover a quick weekend trip.
They made sure I had a great time
The location of the house was perfect. It is a location where you can easily go anywhere you want in San Diego. This is my first time using Blue Ground. They made sure I had a great time, I got instant answers to every question I asked. They were very helpful. If I need a house from now on, I will definitely work with Blue Ground again. I would especially like to thank Mariel Villa for all her help.

The most seamless booking process
Probably the most seamless process I’ve ever experienced for booking a place. Frank was extremely helpful. He answered all of our questions, and is always extremely responsive. The website is super easy for booking, uploading documents, etc. This is the first time we have used Blueground, and will definitely continue to use them in the future. I highly recommend!

Living right where the city’s business and dining scenes meet brings a fun energy to your daily routine. Stanza Little Italy puts you at the edge of Downtown with gorgeous Italian-inspired interiors and great skyline views.
It runs mostly as a luxury building, but they offer fully furnished corporate packages with premium kitchenware and sleek furniture. You also get full access to the community perks, including a dog run and a resort-style pool deck.
When we toured the property recently, the skyline views from the outdoor fitness terrace completely won me over.
Just keep in mind that choosing a fully furnished unit pushes the monthly cost up quite a bit. Their best pricing also tends to go to longer leases, which may not fit a more transient lifestyle.
Wonderful tour and welcoming community space
Wonderful tour given by Trenton. He was warm and engaging and took me straight to see all the things I was looking for in a living space. Very easy to work with and accommodating. The building and its amenities were quite tasteful as well and seems like welcoming community space.

He made the entire process simple for me and really gave me a warm and welcome feeling which contributed to me choosing to live here. Thank you Trenton and the rest of the leasing team at Stanza for making this process as stress-free as possible!

4. Newport Place Apartments

Website: http://www.newportplace.com/
Address: 1343 C St
Contact: (619) 800-4077
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Juggling separate monthly bills gets old fast, so an all-inclusive rent structure feels refreshing. Newport Place Apartments bundles your gas, electric, and high-speed internet into one payment.
They offer move-in-ready private studios and single rooms inside shared co-living apartments, all set in a beautifully preserved Victorian-era building.
Because it sits in the East Village IDEA (Innovation, Design, Education, and Arts) District, you can walk to transit lines and city parks without a car.
A coworker who stayed here for a semester loved how close everything was. He barely touched his car the whole time.
Just be aware that you’ll share the kitchen and bathroom with roommates unless you snag one of the rare standalone studios. Laundry also means a communal coin-operated room rather than machines inside your unit.
Close to downtown and friendly
I’ve lived at Newport Place for nearly 2 years and enjoyed the experience very much. It’s very close to downtown and nice places to eat. It’s also near the trolley. There is a laundry room that is convenient. Everyone there is friendly and down to earth. Great for students and young professionals!!

5. Furnished SD

Website: https://www.furnishedsd.com/home
Address: 5726 La Jolla Blvd
Contact: (619) 821-4499 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Settling into a coastal neighborhood without a rigid lease is easy with a provider that works closely with traveling professionals. Furnished SD manages a network of over one hundred units placed near key medical hubs and naval installations.
They include turnkey amenities like smart TVs and fully stocked kitchens. Their support staff also stays reachable around the clock for check-in details or maintenance.
If you’re in the military, you’ll appreciate that they build standard military clauses into contracts and keep proper registration to streamline corporate billing.
A friend who relocated for a short hospital contract said that the quick response really put her at ease.
On the downside, these spaces are built for medium-term stays, so they won’t suit anyone after a standard long-term unfurnished place.
And since many sit inside older renovated buildings, you might run into quirks like a portable AC unit instead of central cooling.
Communicative, respectful, and flexible
My husband and I had to find a place on short notice and we could not have been happier with our choice. Memo was very communicative, respectful and flexible with our lease terms since we were looking for a shorter stay. The apartment was clean and newly renovated with quality appliances. We had no issues throughout our stay aside from the shared washer which needed some maintenance, however this was getting addressed as we were moving out. I would highly recommend living here!

Clean, modern, and cozy unit
I did a year long lease with LJPC LLC and it was such a great experience. The unit was clean, modern, and cozy. Management was always easy to get a hold of whenever something came up, and were quick to fix the issue. The Golden Hill neighborhood was a great place to live. It was safe, as well as walking distance to downtown and other great spots. Everything about the unit and complex was amazing, and I highly recommend staying whether it’s short term or long term!
