Nevertheless, we feel they still have room to improve on responsiveness. A client claimed that she experienced some delays and missed calls from the attorneys before.

We also find it convenient that they provide complimentary telephonic consultations and payment plans to ease their clients’ burdens.
Someone we interviewed even praised them for returning calls and emails within 24 hours. This shows us how dedicated they are to making communication seamless.
You can also talk to their staff in different languages, which include Mandarin, Swedish, Spanish, and more.
Their costs are generally competitive for large-scale firms as well. Still, these fees are typically higher than those of solo practitioners or non-profit services.
Also, keep in mind that some attorneys and case managers here tackle hundreds of cases at a time. In our view, this can lead to clients working with multiple staff throughout the process, which can feel less personalized or confusing.

Founded in 2008 by Jim Hacking, this company emphasizes its streamlined processes. We like that this ensures speed and efficiency with their communication, follow-ups, and document submissions.
One more thing we like is that Hacking has a reputation for being exceptionally straightforward. At times, we heard that he even recommended a rival firm once if that better suited the client’s needs.
And between their YouTube channel and Facebook group, we appreciate that they provide more free educational content than almost any rival. In our book, this makes clients more well-informed, which is handy before talking to any attorney.
While this modern, medium-to-high volume practice doesn’t publish its fees, someone we reached out to described their flat-fee costs as average in the city.
There are downsides to their limited high-touch service, though. Because they prioritize efficiency, we reckon those who prefer deeply involved lawyers might find their process too transactional or automated.

When it comes to rates, many clients say they are affordable but a high-quality alternative to premium-priced boutique firms. They charge transparent flat fees to avoid hourly surprises. Initial consultations are free as well.
However, we feel it can be inconvenient when they change staff mid-case due to their large case volume. Some clients prefer the same points of contact from the start, so this can cause friction when it happens.
